Winston Churchill heard about ventile's capacity to protect from wind and water whilst allowing the body to breath whilst wearing the fabric the RAF started producing WW2 fighter pilots outfits from Ventile which saved alot of lives, preventing pilots dying from hyperthermia when endind up in the sea.
